These wafer head screws have been specially developed for (hard)wood constructions. Made in Germany by Reisser. they guarantee high quality.
True. they are somewhat more expensive. but I have used many different brands in the past years (eg Spax and so on) and these Reisser screws are really perfect. I do not want any other any more. They run smoothly in the wood. the supplied bit fits perfectly and does not slip. and especially very important. the screws do not break! (I really hate that ...) Of course you have to pre-drill. but that's normal with hardwood.
